Gosh, I hope that this works. Nervously fingering a wad of bills in his pocket, Gladion walked up the steps to the front door of the motel. Please, please don't have restrictions on how long I can stay here, he thought, the door getting closer and closer. The old door of the motel seemed a bit worn down, but it looked like it still functioned well. There would still be the possibility of a loud screech that would emanate from the hinges when he pushed the door open, though he was hoping with all his heart that that wasn't the case. He just wanted to make a quick entrance and a quick exit, nothing more.

What was better than a trainer just starting on their journey with their first ever Pokémon? Finding something that nobody had probably laid eyes upon for the last decade at least! At first, Josh had been really worried when he found himself wandering off the track of Route 2 and into the wilderness beyond, thus getting lost, until the way parted and there, before him, was a deep grey building, the windows small and mostly broken, vines and creepers struggling their way up it and the curved roof having a gaping hole in it. There was a sign in front of it, but most of the writing seemed to have been rubbed off, m
Ash flopped onto his couch, flicking on the television. Once more he had returned from journeying around a region and beating its gyms and strongest trainers before returning home, to Pallet Town. Just like every time before, he loved being home at first, sleeping his own bed, tasting his mother's cooking, everything wonderful about being home!
Then it started to grow dull, he missed the open roads, the battles, the adventure, and the excitement! But where was a Pokémon Master supposed to find the thrill of battle when no opponent held challenge for him anymore? Maybe he could start a gym, or join an Elite Four, he was cert

“Don’t go into the basement.” That’s what Will’s brother Jason had told him day after day. Will, being a typical 8-year-old, was only made more curious about the basement by his older brother’s insistence that he keep out. Jason had been known to spend hours down in the cold, sparsely furnished rooms below, bringing all sorts of strange packages and tools down there, and rarely bringing them back up.
Will had asked his parents about what Jason was doing down there, but they hadn’t been too helpful. His mother told him that Jason was “just wasting his time and money down ther

It was a calm few weeks after the incident at Cerulean City. Talk soon began to simmer down as damages were calculated and repairs had begun from the monster Dragonite’s rampage. Thankfully, no one was heavily injured, although many had turned to thanking the two Pokemon that seemed to arrive just in time to save the day, with the sole purpose of defeating the raging giant.
Ho-oh and Lugia. Talk of them was more common in Johto than in the eastern half of the landmass, and yet the two flying legends appeared almost magically within the skies of Cerulean City, with hundreds of witnesses chatting about the occurrence like it we

“Ash, I’m going out for a bit for some errands and I’m taking Mr. Mime with me, look after the house!” Delia spoke out.
“You got it, mom!” The trainer responded. It had been a few weeks since he had returned from Cerulean after the ‘incident’ with Team Rocket. He, Misty, and Lily had parted ways and Ash had decided to spend a bit more time back home while he figured out what he would do next.
Well, next in terms of the next step in his Pokemon journey. For now, he did in fact know what he would do for the day.
The day before, he had received a package from none other than Lily herself
As a volunteer at the local ranch, Leroy relished his work. He didn't care that it was free, of his own time and effort.. The farm animals were enough. Like the Miltanks, the Skiddos... Especially the Rapidash. That was what he had been assigned to today, and he was enjoying every moment of it. The horses with flames for a mane were just so beautiful and hypnotic to watch, seemingly singing the grass with each hoof print in the grass. Yet they never caused a blaze, never a fire
But it was nearing the end of the day, and naturally he had to herd the group of horses back into their stables, whistling out to the fields as the Rapidashes
Cracking his knuckles, Leroy washed his hands and started to prepare his surroundings. He was one of the few people that actually came to the laboratory early, preparing the area for the other researchers and scientists to work within. It had to be perfectly clean, each bench wiped spotless and sterilised along with all the equipment... So he should get started, then.
Getting the sanitiser ready he got to work, beginning to remove any contaniments from the benches, including gross stains and the like. He was a scientist himself, of course... Just a junior one. He tended to only assist in experiments and research, or worked with the s
